[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"][QUOTE="iiSnopel"]I do agree with a first-page comment. Ninja Theory really should not have touched DMC. Other than that... something tells me that Mortal Kombat is far better off with Netherrealm Studios rather than Midway... they did a bloody good job on the recent MK9 (One of my favourite fighters in my library) and I think they could continue on to do great things to the series. Without, of course, keeping to the same formula over and over. Um it's the same studio. Publisher is the big difference here. Stupid, stupid me. Guess I better think through what I post...
This feels like a world war, where one of the parties is starting to collapse... and about to give up. Microsoft surrenders to this conflict. Microsoft was doing well for their time... but with all this new technology coming out it's no surprise their head's on the chopping block. I'd actually laugh if Apple took over Xbox. "Hey guys! A new console has been announced! The ACube 5.1254601! Look! We made the console longer!"
I've had PS1, PS2, Xbox, Xbox360 and Wii. I've pretty much experienced the differences in gaming between them... well at least all that I've got... that may not be much... eep. As for the next generation of gaming... I feel as if I'm leaning towards Sony. I dunno. Xbox360's exclusives seem to be the majority of FPS games, rather than Sony having exclusive platformers, fighters and the mix. My three favourite genres are 1on1 Fighting (Tekken Tag 2 kicks ass), WRPGs (like Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning), and Platforming (Sonic Generations was fantastic. I don't care what you say.) Games like Ratchet and Clank, Jak, even some installments of Tekken always seem to satisfy me. But Xbox360 gets things like Gears of War, Halo and other dark types of games like that. I could be wrong but that's the most I have seen. And for this reason the PS4 is climbing to my favour. Only thing I'll miss is Forza. Forza MS 4 stomped all over Gran Turismo 5 in all aspects. And Forza is definitely one of my favourite racers of all time. TL;DR: Xbox includes exclusives a little outside my preference, whereas Playstation has exclusives in which I say "God I wish I had a PS3..."

Me myself, I would like to see more combat racing games. Things like Jak X... or even Split Second. Those are good fun. That or a third person shooter game with crazy weapons. Anyone remember Ratchet and Clank? It'd be good to have another IP with that... close to it but without totally and outright ripping it off. My other preference. And I get the feeling I'm going to be put in the firing line for this. *ahem* Interactive Movies like Heavy Rain. That looks like quite a good experience. Like, how every movement is a button input. Even daily movements like walking, picking up shopping bags and... well everything. Imho, I'd like to see one of those on Xbox. *shields self*
