why don't you just stream your music from your computer to your xbox using tversity

besides the hdd, does anyone know any other differences between the two.

I'm thinking about buying a new monitor, Acer 24" p243waid, and it has hdmi & dvi inputs but no audio. Is there a way to just use the hdmi to the monitor and the optical audio cable to my surround sound from the ps3. Will that work or will the hdmi not make the optical audio work
