Our time has come! Hearthstone EU Beta Invites rolling out.

I`ve just received a breaking news message on my Battle.net account urging me to set up my beta profile, otherwise the invite can`t be sent.

So keep calm and refresh email for 23432423 hours. No more drooling over US streamers playing the game (i hope). See you soon guys and gals!

Battlefield 3 Multiplayer PC Requirements Charade.

Battlefield 3 is a FPS (first-person shooter) video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts. Sequel to Battlefield 2 which was released in 2005, it continues the fight against PLR in the campaign game mode.

The PC version is exclusive to EA`s Origin platform, through which players authenticate. Due to not featuring a main menu, players launch the multiplayer session via web browser, from the Battlelog website.

I will be talking about the minimum requirements to play the game and my story regarding this.

Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3

OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7

Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz

RAM: 2GB

Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.

Graphics card memory: 512 MB

Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card

Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

My System Requirements

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Processor: E6600 Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 GHz

RAM: 6GB

Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTS 250.

Graphics card memory: 1 GB

Sound card: DirectX compatible sound card

Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

As you can see, my processor (even my graphics card) is the weak link in this whole dated setup. Paying MW3 Multiplayer on this rig and running it smooth, i thought i should give it a shot with BF3, quickly getting bored of the small maps and lack of depth in CoD.

So i rush to a self service ATM, deposit for the game and bills and what not, get home and quickly buying a digital copy of Battlefield 3 from a third party, grab my Back to Karkand DLC from the Origin Store and anxiously wait for the download to complete so i can start playing this acclaimed multiplayer FPS.

Guess what? In spite of meeting the minimum system requirements, it is impossible to get your shooting on properly even on low video settings. You need at least a Quad Core to play with a decent frame rate, no matter if you try a 16 vs. 16 or a 64 vs. 64 match...So my hype was gone.

Dissatisfaction on broken promises quickly settled in. I was aware of my low spec rig so i did not expect awesome visuals (which to be honest, are good even on low video settings) but i never thought the game would be virtually unplayable. Disinformation should not be an allowed practice, i am sure that each and everyone of you wants to enjoy a product in all it`s aspects after you buy it. Why not just up the minimum requirements? This way i got the "hey, it launches, optimization - not our problem" feeling.

In another aspect, EA`s Customer Support is a joke. Instead of quickly resolving my complaint and just tell me they do not offer refunds/game exchanges on third party purchases they dragged the whole case during a whole week period because the order was nowhere to be found, neither in their database or in my Origin order history.

Third party or not, i did not steal the game, i payed for that activation code (yeah, everything runs through Origin).

In conclusion, instead of enjoying a beautiful game in these set of circumstances, i am left with it`s aluring sight in my games library and the bitter experience of dealing with awful customer support, next to none. Minimum Requirements: ...syke! Get a $500 upgrade.
