With Gears of War 2, same deal here. volume is up. not muting. I can see the bubbles of others talking and occasionally hear a little murmur.

using the origial headset that comes with the game and connects into the control (with the switch switched to the microphone) nobody can hear me and I can't hear them either. I don't get the bubble to come up for me when im talking either.

amazon.com has the HD transfer kits for under 20 bucks or used & new starting at 10 bucks.

I saw a few reviews of people saving games to their HDs and thought that the consensus was that it didn't make that much of a difference.

How big are most of the games?

Castle Crashers. yes it is a side scroller but it has decent music and plenty of funny moments. The controls are simple and you can DL the game for cheaper than a game you would have to go out and get.

Best part is the local co-op works flawlessly

The online portion of multiple is broken and has been for sometime now.
