Well right now I only have a PS2 (which I will not be using soon anymore!), a DS Lite (I am going to get a DSi on April 5th) and I will get an Xbox 360 Elite in the future. So on April 5th, my DSi will be my main console.
Well let's start off on DS Lite vs. DSi If you want to keep your GBA SP (and still play it of course), you should get the DSi. Check out Nintendo's website for info on that. It has 2 cameras, online store (where you could buy many apps and an online browser), audio player (AAC files) ($169.99) If you want to have a basic DS with a great battery life (more than the DSi!), cheaper price, and can play all your GBA games, buy the DS Lite ($129.99 --- many great colors to choose from!!) The DS Lite is a very great system. The graphics are better than the GBA, but in my opinion, doesn't have the classic portable graphics the GBA has (it doesn't look like the Wii's graphics either in general). Playing with the touch pen is really fun, and I highly recommend this system if you like fun games. Not many teenager/adult games, because Nintendo obviously is a target to having more family fun games.
Try to find games that are rated "E". Also games that are rated "EC" (Early Childhood, those games are very rare) You could also buy some GBA games if you have a DS/DS Lite (DSi does not have a GBA slot)
The DSi uses regular SD Cards. They do not use SDHC cards (they go over 2 GB!). I suggest getting 2 GB if you are going to put lots of music on your DSi and take lots of pictures ;)
Hey I pre-ordered mine from Gamestop on March 2nd. I got the blue one too. AND yes I am a guy too. LMAO. I think the blue looks awesome. I can't wait for April 5th. Add me as a friend dude so we can talk about the DSi when it is released.

I have Dragon Ball Origins now, and will be playing Pokemon Platinum on March 22. I have Super Mario Bros in my GBA slot (NES classics), and I just play that game when I'm bored. When I get the DSi, I'll still play my few GBA games on my DS Lite.
What colours are avialble ? I'd like to see a metallic forest green.jaredcsimpson
For NA there are currently black and blue. Go to GameStop if you really want to see them! Other regions have different colors, so you would have to do more research on that.
