What does your role entail?
I am responsible for managing our production facilities in Moscow and Beijing—this includes all of the engineering and the manual data production work. One of the challenges of this role is the fact that our team operates on a global level—so managing the time difference, as well as the language and cultural barriers, can be a challenge. An average day involves early morning Skype meetings from my house until the end of their work day, and then I drive to work to finish out my day here in Irvine. My role also involves a lot of travel.
