I don't think Halo has been beaten to death, nor has CoD. The games that come out have been solid (except for CoD3...) and are very good I think.

I do not understand why people complain that the Halo franchise is being beaten to death when the COD franchise is even worse. Now i dont have any thing against COD (i love COD4 and i love to see more) but there is already talk of a COD 7 (that doesnt even make sense because there is not even a COD5...) and COD MW2 is not even out! And people complain that Halo is being over produced (it has 4 games if you count HW). People would riot if there were a new Halo game every 2 years, but a new COD game every year is ok. I mean come on! A sequel for a sequel of a game that is not even out yet? It just doesnt make sense. The only way i can describe it is "double standard," but it doesnt make sense that there would be a double standard for video games. Thats dumb lol. Anyone else agree?
