[QUOTE="sts106mat"][QUOTE="brofists"] IF ITS ANOTHER HALO, then put me BACK TO SLEEP bro!!!!!!!! And LOL @ "there are way more exclusives coming out for the 360" That has to be as close to a troll statement as I've seen here. You should banned alone for that misleading comment. But please do share that magical list with us, which no one else seems to have seen or heard of, but you....LEMBOT. Go ahead and make us laugh sir. I expect a whole list similar to lossinends list LMAObrofiststhere really aren't that many high profile PS3 exclusives CONFIRMED for this year though are there? Twisted Metal/Starhawk,which looks great/Sly Cooper 4 ect Id rather have that variety. Then just have another Halo
stop yapping about the statements of those who side on the xbox360 and give us some facts.
GTA IV. I had to shelf it for like 5 months, before I could force myself to finish it. Sepewrath
glad im not alone
Microsoft officially said that it wont be giving any talks about the next gen.
WHAT AN EPIC FALL BATTLE! You have to admit, SONY steps it up more than microsoft when it comes to first party games. How can you be a happy and content xbox 360 owner when another competitor is out first partying you? It must be a good day to be a PS3 owner, congratulations. I can only sit here and imagine the sweet tears of happiness running down your faces. So 360 owners, can you finally admit you lost?Second_Hokage
There are three things to consider here before coming to the conclusion
1.God of war:Ascension is not coming this year(for sure)
2.There are way more exclusives coming out for the xbox360 this year,in which most of them are going to be simply awesome
try out this link:http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/122/1222991p1.html?utm_campaign=ign+main+twitter&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
3.Wake up dude its HALO!!!!!

So it wasn't a "hold X to win" game like everything else.
What, does it need more iron sights, auto aim, killstreaks, and perks for you to stand a chance?

Last time i checked out wikipedia(and the firs)t A game was defined as- 'Agameis structured playing, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool.'
lawyered.
You fail. And I enjoyed the game.
i did complete this game, and seems that your one of those who enjoys getting beaten by the game every minute.no offense.

Both these games are awesome,Eventhough Koa:Reckoning was under rated by almost every website except ign.(as i know)
After a tough decision, I went with Battlefield 3 and I'm very glad I did. Fantastic game. Even the single player was really great I thought.

Please,do your self a favour and try out MW3,Its single player is way more better than BF3.
although i should admit multiplayer wise BF3 all the way.

LOL.
My console is connected to the Internet 24/7 and I don't get Facebook or Twitter notifications when playing single player games - how did you come to this insane conclusion? I can already play Halo and chat with my girlfriend if I want; you wrote this when the original Xbox was out didn't you? This post is from 2003, it has to be.
I can't tell you a device that has a required 24/7 Internet connection, but I can tell you that every single Internet capable device that I own (which are many) is connected to the Internet 24/7. Same goes for MANY people and those are the people the next console is directed at, not the people who buy an Xbox and never connect it to the Internet. It's the tens of millions that play Call of Duty ONLINE, Madden ONLINE and acquire DLC.......ONLINE. My 360 has had a dedicated Internet connection since 2005.
The only thing I'll agree on is that I don't believe the new consoles will be 100% Internet dependant, but I forsee a massive change from what we currently know as far as distribution and connectivity is concerned.

Have u read the topic,it says next gen Xbox, why are u talking about the xbox360.Nowadays people connect to the internet to play the multiplayer mode.So they have integrated social networking apps.If the next gen is connected 24x7 dont u think Devs will develop it to the single player mode as well.
what insane conclusion r u talking about.its just a logical thought if the device is connected to the internet 24X7 devs will try to/or will introduce social networking apps for the user to use 24X7.
p.s-Its a 2012 post
I know it's a 2012 post :)
The reason I mentioned the 360 is because it already has the capabilties you seem to fear for the new console; the social networking apps are a real thing. You mentioned that the "full single player experience cannot be gained" if the console is connected to the Internet 24/7, as if you'd be playing a game, in a very crucial moment and then BLAM "John sent you a Facebook message" pops on screen interrupting the game. Believe me I think options like that will exist, but all of them will be optional.
My whole arguement here is that people without an Internet connection are not who Microsoft will be catering the next Xbox to; that is not where the money is.
Lets just wait and see
