I wouldn't call it crap. It's just OKAY. What are you talking about "more gore"? I shot a zombie in the face with a shotgun and his head blew off... seriously, what do you gore-obsessed people want?! To me the game feels better on PC, designed on PC for the PC. Soooo PC. PC? PC!DPhunkT

First off, there will more than likely be downloadable levels, but the game has only been out for slightly over a month, give it time.

I also agree that bosses would be kind of lame, why would they be there? If you want more team play, turn the difficulty up maybe? It does get more intense.

Also you said being able to shoot off limbs like deadspace, Valve was supposed to take the ideas of a game that was being made during the same time as L4D and implement it into their own? Deadspace came out a month before L4D, it's not really practical for them to have the same idea. On top of that do you have any idea how annoying it would be to have a horde of zombies coming at you that will continue coming after you once you blow off both legs?

What?...

Why do people back up Left 4 dead?

There should be LOTS of gore in it. All zombie movies have gore, so you'd think a zombie game like this would have a lot of it but nope.

I am truly confused with some people. Opinions or not this is literally just odd to me. If gore makes you sick, sure. But it just makes it more realistic, scarier, bloodier, more "woah!"-er, if you get me.

People like me wanted this game!

I read about it, I tried not to look at too many videos and I was so dissapointed!

What are you talking about "Buy Lost Planet"? If I wanted actual boss fights I would buy World of Warcraft, not Lost Planet. My point was that they should've had boss fights. It'd be much more enjoyable coming up to bosses with 3 of your friends on LAN as opposed to just walking around killing 80% of the same thing in 4 different places. I can't believe you people wouldn't want something like this.

Also, imagine being able to blow off limbs and stuff like that? Rather then just aiming at their head, shoot, dead, etc?

They could have made it so much better.

I bet if they implemented everything I just wrote, all the people that were disappointed with this title would love it. Guarantee it.

But of course that won't happen.

[QUOTE="PS2_PC_FAN"]Myabe on 360 it is but on my PC it's awesome! :Dmikel222222

I played it on PC... But, the PC section isn't as popular and Left 4 Dead is on xbox, too, so..

I would've hated boss fights!!! 28 days later, dawn of the dead, all of those movies never had a super ZOMBIE boss. That would be super lame if they added bosses. SUPER LAME

I don't get how that'd be super lame.

Its a team game. You want more of a challenge through out the game with your team rather then versing the same things, and the occasional bad ass big dude.

And I know they didn't have some "boss", but I meant the gore in those films was nice. Ripping into eachothers bodies, biting arms, etc.

Why do people like this game?

Did no one watch Dawn of the Dead and 28 days later?

There should of been so much gore in this, it would of been a killer experience.

Instead they made it look like a game you play in the arcade games in the shopping centre, or while waiting at the airport.

Where are the bosses?

Damnit

So it's bad because there's not enough gore? I guess bosses can be a good arguement but i enjoyed the game a lot and i think it would have made more people quit if there were bosses. The last level in each campaign is good enough for me.

Why would people quit if there were bosses?

It'd require team work. Because thats Left4dead is all about. Team work.

Why do people bring up "boss fights" so much when griping about Left 4 Dead? Obviously, you play on easy/normal with random people and have little to no fun.

Try it on a harder difficulty, then whine about boss fights. Ever fought a tank on the hardest difficulty? I didn't think so.

However, I do have some issues with the game. Not the developers fault though, but the fun involved can be severely situational. The game is exquisite when playing with friends/aquantances who will listen and have the skill to take on the harder difficulties, same with versus mode. However, there are times when random fools will trot into a game and decide to blast Bill to pieces 'cause they're stoned.

Furthermore, I absolutely do NOT understand why people are calling L4D a revolution in co-op gaming. Not so, not so at all. A very cool concept that was exceptionally delivered, yes - revolutionary - no. I haven't played it much in compared with CoD:WaW or other titles, but I'll never let it go because of the great nights you can have when you decide to load it up with some buddies.

Magebane
I play this with LAN for 2 days (not 2 days straight) with 3 of my mates! :) Yes, it does get harder as the difficulty goes up but thats not my point. I don't think anyone is understanding what I mean. It confuses the HELL out of me why someone would disagree with boss fights. You play with 3 random people/friends and you go through killing zombies. It'd be a JOY talking to 3 of your mates over mic when killing the boss. "You to the right with Zoey and shoot him", "I'll keep the zombies off you guys so you can kill the boss", or where ever the hell your imagine takes you. Man, boss fights would have made this game GOOD. As for the gore it could be much bloodier. Those who have played Dead space will understand what I mean when you shoot those alien things. Imagine it being more like that, rather then so simple just "pew pew, dead"?

Yet you CAN blow off limbs. Try aiming better?

Play/look at Dead Space. I mean more like that. Would've been much more gorey and enjoyable!

What do you expect to achieve, if people want a game they will get it. If you want boss fights buy lost planet.impl0sion

There is no correct answer, it's still a gray area in the law.

If you got sued then it's your lawyer vs their lawyer, whoever can spin the facts better. That is IF you can afford a lawyer.

Erlkoenig
Lets see.. One guy that downloaded a stripped DRM game from a website which didn't recieve permission to upload it by the devs VERSUS rich developers who not only have better lawyers, but are in the right anyway. And the only thing the guy has to back himself up is: "I bought a CD-key from an online website".. Nope, you wouldn't win. Its illegal.
