Checking websites such as www.psu.com, www.ps3.net, www.ign.com, and www.kotaku.com have the most up to date information and more of it than any magazine. I'm sure there are more but those are the websites i check. If you want to subscribe to a magazine the official playstation magazine is the best deal for your money.
if you are going to use xbox 360 as your main console then just buy the top rated games for ps3. even though there aren't that many out yet, there will be some great ones coming up in this next year.
