I just beat Super Mario Galaxy a few minutes ago. It's quite the satisfying platformer. I haven't collected every single star; I've only collected a little more than half, so I will still go back and do that.To be honest, it's probably the best platformer I've played in the past few years. ( Once the Gamecube came out, a good platformer was hard to come by; that's when I jumped over to the action adventure genre. )

Considering I just finished the game ( and considering we're already in the year 2008 ), I wonder if this game will make it to my "Top 10 Games Played in 2008" list by the end of the year.

Speaking of end-of-the-year lists, I found myself with many restrictions and couldn't post such a list for 2007. As a dedicated gamer/blogger, I feel the need to post my very own "Video Game Awards of 2007." I'll post that blog soon. ( Better late then never, right? )

My goals for this week included passing Super Mario Galaxy and The Simpsons Game as well as getting started on NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams by this weekend. I was able to do one of those things a short while ago (as mentioned at the beginning of this blog). Maybe I'll be able to finish The Simpsons Game tonight.
