Well, I've been gone for a year and a half, so I thought I'd update! Since the last post, I've: lost a dog to diabetes, got another dog 2 months after, lost a NEAR girlfriend, but gained a full-blown girlfriend, did auditions to get into the music department of Ottawa U, gpot IN to Ottawa U, failed my mid-term paper for music history at Ottawa u, am about to do a concert at Ottawa U, Bought a saxophone, blew up a school bus filled with nuns and whored myself out to 50 fat chicks for 100 bucks each....HAH, those last two were lies :P But yeah. And I've bought a HECK of a lot of games since then, even though i said I was going to retire from gaming (thanks a lot Zelda: Twilight Princess ~.^)

well talk about your bad luck. Dupe's got it pretty bad guys and she's leaving GS for a while. She was my first GS friend here so its sad to see her leave. everybody readin' this should probably go over to her blog and wish her luck and say your goodbyes for now.

Well, sometimes these things happen. And everything happens for a reason, as the saying goes. I hope she'll be able to come back soon, but, above all else, I hope she becomes successful first. Don't let us down Dupe; We're counting on you!

You know what I've noticed? Some games would have been better as movies or as a TV series. I mean, I found myself playing through Xenosaga II purely for the story, because the gameplay was lacking. and there are a lot of games like that too. Where the guys who review them say that [insert game title here] is best known for its story and gameplay isn't the focus. Well, it's a game! shouldn't Gameplay be a focus in a Game?

I say, if you're going to make a game with an awesome story, at least make the gameplay awesome aswell. and don't say you didn't have time to work on that aspect. if you weren't going to have good gameplay to go with it, make a movie with the story instead. Or a series.

I just took a peak at the trailer for "World in Conflict"....I've never seen such a level of voilence and reality than that...It makes you ask yourself if that's the level of fear that the soldiers in Iraq are dealing with every day. I mean, try imagin seeing something that horrible, only instead of 2 minuts of it, you see three years of it...provided you live that long.

I would NEVER be able to play that game. However I do encourage it and other like it. Why? because the world needs to know exactly how disgusting, cruel, and frightening war is. it ain't Metal Gear, you know.

Anyways, on a lighter note, while playing through KHII (haven't beat it yet) I've noticed it contains stuff from Chan of Menories. I haven't played it though and probaby never will. I don't have the Gameboy thing you play it on. So what I need you guys to do is to give me the whole story of it, beginning to end, every spoiler possible, no details left out. but only the information from Chain of Memories. I don't want spoilers for KHII.

Well, I finally beat Kingdom Hearts. just in time for II ^_^ GO SEPHIROTH!! lol Now I'm working on FF9 (can you believe I never geat it yet ~.^).

currently I think I'm at the end of my gaming..hmmm. soon the PS3 will come out and if I get that I'm crazy! I mean I've got enough really. I'll finish off what games I have now (including ending the series' like Kingdom Hearts and Xenosaga) and then maybe hang up my controller....darn -_-
