i'd actually like it if they did a whole makeover, and placed the focus on the future. It would be awesome to have guns, and real life stuff, but most importantly, they keep teh complex mystery plot on hand. Like you would infiltrate buildings in the future, but because you're trying to find out what's happening with the world. I really liked the parts outside of the animus, where

you steal his pen, and access the computers for info...it gave a lot more depth to the game. I only wish you could actually leave the building and do stuff.

I'm not saying they should just ditch Altair (well, he hasn't, in fact...)...they should keep the animus, that you know where it is (free roam in the future, and there's an animus in one building that you can access to search for answers?)...obviously would add a level of complexity.
More moves in terms of movement for Altair/Desmond. I found that at times you don't feel as "badass" as i felt i should be like. Maybe you could jump higher, move faster, dunno.
I wish the assassinations could actually be "stealthy". I mean like, when you assassinate the guy, obviously he had like 10 guards with him, so you probably couldn't assassinate anybody without going into alert mode.
I also think that you shouldn't just find out information just by going to an icon and just performing the task. I think it would be better if you actually have to stalk him, and there will be hints to as what he is doing, or something like that.
