He's kind of a scumbag

I guess someone can argue the entire Armstrong foundation was built on fraud as he took steroids, but he's a cancer victim of course he's done steroids before....

I believe they accused him of using steroids. It's not the same thing :P

Steroids carry a large stigma in comparison to simple PEDs ( Albuterol, Clenbuterol, ephedrine, etc...), which don't.

I tend to separate the 'asshole terrible sportsman Lance Armstrong' trom the 'donates to charity humanitarian Lance Armstrong'. It makes discussing him a little easier.

I mean, he sounds like an unpleasant person in general, but he did some nice things for cancer research funding that people shouldn't demand back from him, fraud or not.

Some people don't see his doping as a bad thing. They argue that pretty much everyone is doping (which is probably true), and that Lance Armstrong was and still is badass (because if everyone else was doping too, Armstrong still beat their asses).

Regardless, I have no sympathy for him, because he was dumb enough to get caught. That's like, the number one rule when it comes to breaking the rules. Do whatever you want, just don't get caught.

And literally sued people for slander who accused him of doping when he actually was.

I don't really care about the drugs, but from what I've seen/read, the guy's an asshole; threatened his friends when they found out.

I really don't get all the people who asked for their money back. Does what Lance did somehow make cancer research less important?

When a man with no testicles and half a brain beats you in sports you should feel bad (lack of testosterone and impaired motor skills).

Only an idiot would think a two time cancer victim had the physical ability to complete the tour de france. Lance is my idol; Dude made millions for cancer, and I can't believe people want their donations back because he simply took some bronchodialtors.
