Namco Museum: Virtual Aracade

Howdy all!

Just posting a video of Namco Museum Virtual Arcade to show everyone what this compilation disc has to offer. The game has a total of 34 games (9 XBLA and 25 Museum games). There is a total of 1800 GS points for the XBLA games and 0 GS points for the museum games.

The XBLA games play from the XBLA menu, while the museum games play from the disc itself.

XBLA games included:

Museum games included:

Arrangement Games included (part of Museum games):

  • Dig Dug Arrangement (2005)
  • Galaga Arrangement (2005)
  • Pac-Man Arrangement (2005)

The games are very fun and very challenging. If anybody is a fan of retro games or have never played them before then you owe it to yourself to pick this up.

For $10-$20 you get 34 games, 1800 possible GS pts, and the ability to play them all from you disc. For collectors, I recommend picking this up and putting your old carts up for collecting. This disc is easier to replace than 20 yr old carts. Most of these arcade titles go for approx 400 pts or $5 online anyhow and take up HDD space.

Verdict: 8/10

The only con to this title is the fact that you cannot go straight back to the games menu when playing/exiting xbla titles. Unlike Sonic's Gen Collection, you have to resort back to the system dashboard and reload the game. The museum games on the other do not work this way. For a few buck, I was able to pick up a lot of ****c games, xbla games, and have the opportunity to play a lot of titles I hadn't even heard of before.

Unboxing: MW2 LE Xbox 360 Console

Hey,

Here's a quick unboxing video of the limited edition Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 console.

I just picked this up today and it took me forever to find one. Out of the 3x Gamestops, 3x Walmarts, 1x Kmart, 3x Blockbusters, 1x Meijer in this town...only 1 WalMart had this bundle and it happened to be the furthest store away :P.. ... They wouldn't hold the system for me either, but I got lucky and was able to pick the console up.

This system is replacing my launch core system than is now going into the bedroom for occasional netflix use while in bed.

Here's the video:

Bundle Includes:
Limited Edition console
250gig Hard drive
2x Wireless Controller (black)
4x Duracell AA batteries
1x wired headset
1x Composite RCA cables
1x Power brick with power cable
1x Ethernet cable
1x CoD:MW2 game (standard edition)

UPDATE:

Now after a few days of owning this console, I'm totally loving it. The console art looks great and the 250gig hard drive is amazing. Before I was having to delete things in order to download arcade titles, now I don't have to worry about it and can install my retail copies on it as well. If anybody can find one of these I recommend picking one up as they are extremely hard to find now. It's pretty much dead silent, which I'm still not used to. My launch unit is loud as loud as a jet fighter. It's also great having an hdmi hookup, so I can now use my xbox for dvd uncoverting instead solely depending on my PS3.
