As fun as Jurassic Park is, it pissed me off. There's this whole "anti-science" theme pervading the whole movie.

But they never once address te fact that the problem wasn't making dinosuars, but that the problem was that John Hammond was a ****ing idiot.

I mean, Jesus. ONE MAN brought down the entire security system, and the security system was structured in such a way as for you to have to get eaten just to bring it back up. Cars on rails, no machine guns, et ****ing cetera.

In my mind, the REAL message of Jurassic Park is "don't be stupid".

I mean, if you're stupid enough, you can **** up anything and kill a lot of people. That's not a reason to not do new and novel things, it's just a reason to not be stupid about it.

Most of michael crichton's novels are like that. He's an author who likes adventure and thrills with a dash of science. I wouldn't want to watch a peaceful dinosaur movie. Maybe you should relax a little, after all you seem to have a good head on your shoulders.

I wouldn't call myself an activist but if i ever see any overt harm being done to animals or small children ifeel an uncontrollable raging inferno of hate and injustice swell from within. It has a lot to do with pure innocence in nature. It's a delusionsome of us humans have. Call me crazy.
