So, my dog's name is Pucca (like the cartoon character... It was my sister's idea). She is almost two years old and she is completely crazy!! I think she is kinda bipolar: she can be sitting calmly one moment, and the next she is running around as if she has just drank 10 cups of coffee. I love her :D
The WGA strike is finally over!! That means more SVU!! Omg I'm so excited!
Completely OT, but has anybody else noticed that Elliot is not wearing his wedding ring this season?? ;)
Last night I was watching a repeat of CSI: NY. It was an ok eppy overall. Well, at the end, Stella and Mac hugged, and the first thing that came to my mind was: WTF?! This show has been on air for like 4 years I think and the main characters alredy hugged, while on SVU I had to wait NINE years to finally see El and Liv hug! SO UNFAIR!! Although it was an awesome hug :D
**NOTE: Im not criticizing CSI: NY, I think it is a good show. You could say my shippy heart felt kinda jealous.:P
I can't wait!! Im so excited! I even put a countdown in myspace pagexD

Last wednesday, a horrible eathquake shook the south of Perú. The earthquake, whose magnitude was variously estimated at 7.7 to 7.9, was centered off Peru's Pacific shore near Ica. It lasted for about 2 minutes.
We also felt it in Lima: I was at ballet lessons, whe suddenly the mirrors started moving and some pictures started shaking. We were so scared! It wouldn't stop...I can only imagine how it must have felt in Ica, where almost 500 people died.
There have been more than 300 aftershocks! The strongest one reached a magnitude of 6...
School c|asses were suspended the 16th. What I hate the most is that everytime something like this happens, the people with less resources are the ones who get the worst part: many families lost everything they had, their houses, everything!
Thanks to the solidarity of many peruvian citizens, as well as international aid, necessary things such as food, water, tents and medicines are being sent to Pisco. Let's just hope for the best now!

OMG I haven't posted anything for a LONG timee! I've been so busy with school, ballet and photography that the few times I used the computer was to do researches about some lame topics my geography teacher asked... I mean, what does the Roman Empire has to do with geography?! Even if I'm in a peruvian-italian school, I didn't see the relation...I still don't.
Summary of the last month (kinda):
June 9th--> My best friend had her "quino" (or quince). A "quino" is the equivalent of the "sweet sixteen" in Peru and in Latin America. It's the same thing, the only difference is that we celebrate it at 15. I didn't have one :( but I did travel to the Dominican Republic, to the Bavaro Beaches. It was SO beautiful!! I stayed there for 4 days and then I went to Santo Domingo for another 3, cause my dad had to give a conference there.
June 17th--> C lass trip to Ancash! Ancash is the capital of Huaraz, a departamento (wich is like a state in the US) 8 hours in bus from Lima. I've been there twice before, but this time was a completely different experience! My friends rock!! we had SO much fun!!
July 7th--> Machu Picchu became one of the 7NW!!=) - Fall Out Boy performed in Live Earth!! (luv them!) - My little puppy's first bday!!! (so many things happenedxD)
July 20th--> Special performance at my school for Peru's Day (actually, it is the 28th). I danced a duet as a rooster, renacting a cockfight (I think they are inhuman and cruel, and I thank that here in Peru are only allowed in certain places). It went GREAT!! I was so happy!! Immediately had to change to dance a festejo, a traditional peruvian dance. And then... WINTER BREAK FOR THREE WEEKS!!! And I'm enjoying every minute of them!=)
All I'm gonna do is relax, go to parties, the mall, play Sims 2 (best game ever...I'm addicted since Sims 1) and lurk around the SVU forums (so happy Mariska got an Emmy nom!! Totally deserves it! ).
