Bit off topic but i reckon any of the Final Fantasy games credits are good, they have great music and really wrap up a brilliant game

I don't get how this seems so outrageous $1700 includes shipping. Have a look at prices for these parts in Australia, they cost loads. Look at cpl.net.au msy.com.au or pccasegear.com This easily costs at least $1600

Nah, these prices are about right for the Aus Market. I looked at MSY and CPL (renowned cheap pc parts for Aus), and I would have paid maybe $50 more than that, plus I got much better warranty and service from where I went. Im building it myself and already have monitor, and software. I know its a lot but I reckon it'll be worth it

CPU:E7300

MOB: EVGA 750i SLI FTW

GPU: EVGA GTX 260 Core 216 SuperClocked

RAM: OCZ 4GB Kit 6400 Titanium

CAS: CoolerMaster RC-690

PSU: Corsair HX-620

HDD: Seagate 500 GB SATA

OPD: Pioneer 216 SATA

I think it's pretty awesome, will be able to SLI in future. Just wondering if I could have got comparable stuff for cheaper or better stuff for the same price.

Do you think the E7300 will bottleneck the GPU?

Came to about AU$1650

CPU: E7300 -MSY 185
GPU: 896mb GTX 260 OC Gigabyte Core 16 -SCORPTEC 495
RAM: 4gb Kingston Twin 1066 -MSY 98
MOBO: Gigabyte EP45-DS3 -MSY 184
PSU: Corsair HX-620 -SCORPTEC 175
CASE: Antec Nine-Hundred -MSY 193

TOTAL: 1330

My main Q is might the E7300 bottleneck the gtx 260?? Don't plan on OC so will keep stock cooling. Chose the gtx 260 over 1gb 4870 because was a bit cheaper and seems with new (Core 16) may yield better performance as Nvidia seems a bit better for gaming.

Anyways, any ideas or suggestions are welcome. BTW not going over this set budget as I'm pushing it as it is. Thx

BTW also have HDDs so don't need anymore

i have a 17" monitor with max res at 1280x1024 but may consider hooking pc up to 42" TV. also I've been reading bad things about CPL and their service, would skorptec or MSY be better options although a bit more expensive?

It definitely will help but i would suggest spending a bit more money and getting a CPU that will do better in the long run such as the e8500 or e8400
