You have to have a myresistance.net account linked to your psn and then you can look up the codes at myresistance.net. They are different for each person.
gametrailer.com is doing it with their videos so why cant gamespot do it?

No, the standard vs HD gametrailers does only applies to the webpage. The "standard def" is just HD resized to a smaller resolution. Thats different from showing videos directly from a Standard Def source.
