The reason the graphics are outdated is because this was originally a GameCube game, and when they had to switch to the Wii, graphics weren't the top priority.
As it turns out, Kiddy Kong is NOT the son of Dixie Kong, and Diddy Kong is NOT Dixie's brother. Dixie Kong comes from a completely different line of Kongs, starting with Karate Kong rather than Blink on the other side. Diddy Kong is actually Funky Kong's son, Funky Kong is Donkey Kong's brother, making Donkey Diddy's uncle. Kiddy Kong comes from the same line as Dixie, however, instead of being Dread Kong's son, he is Sumo Kong's son, making Kiddy and Dixie cousins. In conclusion, Kiddy is not inbred.
