But when I go into multiplayer, it seems like I die very very fast when someone shoots me. Skullheart
So you think FPS' take no skill because you die fast in those, but MMORPG's do take skill because you dominate in them? Maybe you just aren't very good at FPS'?

There's absolutely no question an FPS takes more skill. MMORPG PvP is dependant on too many things that have nothing do with your skill; Luck, gear, level, and class. If you take two players of equal skill and gear in WoW, but of two different classes, chances are one player is going to dominate the other player due to class strengths/weaknesses. Take two equally skilled people in an FPS and they'll probably end up in a stalemate.

WoW is probably the worst MMORPG for PvP anyway. The game is so horribly imbalanced for PvP. One class will dominate while others are left behind. Then they'll nerf that class so it'll be too weak to PvP, then buff some other class so they'll then be overpowered. It's a joke.

I don't care if they're childish minigames or adult oriented minigames.  Minigames are not worth $50.

Gotta agree with the original poster here.  I'd personally given up on consoles entirely until I found out about the Wii and its unique controller.  I thought it'd rejuvinate my love for consoles, and it did for awhile, but that love is fading fast.  I got about 10 hours into Zelda and just stopped playing because it bored the crap out of me (Zelda games just aren't fun anymore.  I don't know why so many people love them).  Wii Sports is awesome but you can only play it so much before getting tired of it.

You can't totally blame Nintendo for the lack of games.  Most of the games that are coming out that are most looked forward to are made by Nintendo.  They're doing their part.  It's the rest of the companies out there that aren't making very good games.  I don't care about mini/party games.  I don't care about crappy ports with bad graphics and controls.  I don't care about games based on movies.  I'd give just about anything else out there a try, save for a few sports games, but the pickings are slim.  I'm beginning to feel like this system was a waste.

I grew bored with console games until I found out about the Wii.  The unique controller was the next innovative step I was hoping to see in gaming.

So I got the Wii and was impressed, but cautious.  I noticed how there were hardly any games out for it, and many of the games it did have were just party games.  I can appreciate a good party game, but that's not the kind of game you sit at home and play by yourself, it's the kind of game you play with friends.

So where the hell are all the real games?  It's almost April now and I still haven't seen anything that's interested me in the slightest.  I had high hopes for this console but how much longer am I going to have to wait until there are some good games out for it??!
