The minimum for the 9800GTX is 450 watts but if your thinking about getting the 9800GTX why not just get the ATI HD 4850. It's a better card for less money..
[QUOTE="joseguido1980"]Do you recommend any particular PSU? These PSUs should come with the 6-pin PCIe connector right(PCIe ready)? Any ideas where I can research the limitations of my mobo?[/QUOTE
I perfer OCZ, Thermaltake, Antec and CoolerMaster as far as power supplies go, most come with the 6-pin and some don't. I'm not sure where you can research the limitations of your mobo, some body else might be able to help you with that..
The only thing I replaced since I bought this is the GPU, have a now ancient Nvidia 7600GT.
I've ordered another gig of RAM, pretty cheap at Crucial, but am looking to upgrade my GPU. I'm thinking of the Geforce 8800GT. Will my current rig support this? Should I be worrying about the changing the PSU or the motherboard?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, your motherboard supports the 8800GT, but you will need a PSU of 450 watts or more and one 6-pin PCIe connector or two 4-pin molex supplementary power connectors..
Hi, guy's, I'm going to be getting a HD 4850 512mb card in the next 2 weeks, my question is i have Vista 64-bit and 2GB of DDR2 800 Ram in Dual Channel, would it be a good idea to upgrade my Ram to 4GB?? I hear alot of people say that 64-bit Vista uses up alot of Ram..Thanks in advance..
Hey guy's sorry for all the questions but i found out that the 9800 GTX+ out performs the 4850 for the same price at newegg.com so if you guy's had to choose between the 2 which 1 would you take??
