so many things are wrong with your statements. i wont even begin to go into the majority of them. ill just contend with one issue that noone has seemed to pick up on.
you decry the movement of games away from the arthouse genre ie.intelligent games with meaningful philosophies. you areplacing games alongwith high culture, art, poetry, literature and perhaps even movies. but do you even begin to sustain the focus of thisform of entertainment? these are forms of human expression that have lasted over a millennium. people spend their entire lives critiquing and studying the one form and painstakingly, painfully,analysing them.how can you expect games to be placed alongside high culture when the majority of effort that goes into gaming is put into programming/coding etc.
so stop with the elitist crap caus, quite frankly, you have no cause to withold such a diatribe when your comparing apples to oranges. face it, gaming isa form of mass entertainment; the main priority of which is fun. which galaxy delivers in spades.
