To be honest, anything below a 46' you wont really see the 1080p. unless your sitting really close. The 71 series are awsome tv's, the selling point for me is the auto motion. only sony and samsung are doing that right now. it really makes a huge difference from crystal clear 1080p to dear god its looks like your on set at the movie. but not everyone likes that look.
Those sharps are decent gaming tv's, they have a good 6 milisecond response time for an LCD. But if you going to get a good tv for everything ( hd dvd and 360), any of the samsung 71 series tv's are the best. The 120 Hz with auto motion are amazing, they really add to 3D look to everything. Check one out at your local circuity city, should be in one of the sound rooms, at least it is at the one I work at.
Ive played on both 720p and 1080i and honestly cant tell that much of a difference. This might be due to the change in screen size but, but ive seen 720p on a 42in and it doesnt look any better than 1080i on my 53 in...but thats just me. Ive never had any of ghosting either.
I voted for the graphics. I've actually enjoyed the stories in the previous GTA's. The cars could use some updates, since they've had the same ones in all three for the most part. But the graphics have been pretty bad in all three, compared to the top titles on the PS2 when they were released.
From what i remember it played well for a console RTS, a lot better than the previous attempts at it. Once you get the hang of the controls its a fun game, as for the content, i cant really say much as i didnt have live at the time for anything download able but the story seemed long enough to me.
Hey, sorry if this has been posted before but i really didnt feel like looking through almost 40 pages of posts. But i was wondering anyone else has had the problem where your 360 just stops reading discs? everything else works, demos, movies off the hdd..arcade games. Just wonder if anyone else has expericenced this and what you did about it? thanks
