What a day... I shot down the balloon and there was my golden slingshot waiting for me. I hadn't realised I had shot that many things down. The golden tool collection is building. But it will take forever to get the golden rod and net... if ever. But never lose heart... you may achieve it before you realise.

Pascal finally came to town. I have had the scallop waiting in my cupboard for ages just for him to turn up. So I have my Golden Axe. Yeah. I probably won't use it now as I have all the trees where I want them for now... but it is golden.

 

Caught a flea off Peewee. It took so many goes and I kept getting too close. Boy was he peeved that I kept stopping and saying "nothing".... was quite funny actually. Blathers really loved getting the flea, as you can imagine.

It was Patti's birthday yesterday but when I went all prepared with my gift she was packed up ready to leave. Well she missed out big time :) I said farewell to her, as I already have her pic and she isn't really that interesting... but this morning she is unpacked and all settled in again. Strange... will she ever leave or just kept teasing me.

Mathilda gave me her photo so I can finally say good bye to her when she is ready to leave. I actually took the time to send letters and gifts to all my townies yesterday too. I used to do that weekly but have been slack. Got plenty of floors and walls today. Should have remembered to do 4 lines not just 3.

Good letter from Mum... "keep this, eat this or just enjoy it, and I don't mean you animal friends" It was an orange. I messed up the wording here but you get the idea.

Patti the big brown cow gave me her pic today. I was really surprised as she hasn't been in town long and I didn't think I had mixed with her much. Not that I am complaining. I can let her leave now and get a new resident. That is always fun.

Went into Redd's for a change and bought the painting.... yes it was another forgery. I do not have one real painting in this town. Starting to p... me off.

Things are moving well still. I have Perfect Town Status and have received my golden watering can... "it doesnt' do anything special but just looking at it should give you a glow". Flea market yesterday was a success, made 60000 bells. The house is empty but oh well will just start finding new items to put in there. I am going to do one room in classic theme. Not sure about the other one. Might keep it as a storage area for now.

Finally got up on a Sunday morning in time for Joan. Turnips were only 94 bells which is cheap for her lately. Now just have to keep an eye on the stalk market and make some money. Been doing some chores for the townies and getting them wanted items. Not really sure if it is a good thing to catch the fish before them as they seem unhappy, but it does help.... weird.

It is Tanks birthday this week so will have to find something to give him. I am so glad I have a new game cartridge so no glitches. I want to make sure he has a party and presents :)

Things are starting to move along now. I got my final fossil... yeah all done. Now to try and get the rest of the fish and bugs... but they take time, and need to be the right season. Oh well... just keep plodding along.

I got my first ever Gracie shirt. I didn't even realise you could get them or how. I had seen other people say they had them but never really paid attention. I talked to her and this time I got a wanna be certificate and a shirt. That is better than getting the fashionista certificate cos them you don't get a shirt at all. Teach me to be such a fashion star.... hehehe

Since getting the new PS3 I have started playing Ratchet and Clank. Even went out and bought Tools of Destruction after I realised how much fun Booty was. I finished Tools of Destruction all by myself. I can't say that about many games at all. It was so much fun. I loved the humour and the characters. I have gone back and started Booty again. It is so much better now that I know the story and who the Zoni are.

I am stuck on the darn pirates back on Hoolifet Island. I just can't get the turrets. I have even had my flat mate try to give me a go but when you aren't used to playing the game and the controls it is a bit much to ask. I have tried and tried and just can't get past it. But I will perserve and hope that I make it through finally. The rest of the game was really easy this time round. I guess it can't all be easy. But I wish it was....

I won the fishing tournament with the first fish I handed in... a 42.6 inch sea bass. That means I now have all 3 trophies. That is great. I am so pleased. And my perfect town status is coming along well. Getting more and more Jacob's Ladders.

No new residents. Still only 2 fossils to get. Not much else happening. I keep missing Joan on Sunday morning so no turnips to speculate with either. Wendal was in town and I got the museum tile. I wish Pascal would come so I can get the golden shovel. I have the scallop in my cupboard waiting for him still.

Well who would have guessed. I am on the way to Perfect Town Status and didn't have to do anything extra. It was all the flower moving that tipped the balance. I was in the post office and just thought I'd ask Pelly about the environment to get an idea of how far off I was and she said "Liberty is great"

I got a Jacob's Ladder yesterday and another today. 12 more days and I get the magical golden shovel. Yeah, another milestone achieved.

It is fishing tourney on Sunday so I guess I'd better start doing some fishing and keep some big fish ready. This is the last trophy I need then I'll have the collection. Can't beat that... and done so quickly.

I paid off my loan and now have another level with a room to decorate.... darn it. I just have not got into setting up my house. Maybe this will be the motivation I need... maybe.

I forgot I was 6 months ahead and the other day when I logged in Tank was waiting outside with a birhtday cake for me. Wow what a nice surprise that was. And lots of presents from all the townis. Nothing like the unexpected happening to cheer you up.

My devilish plan to win the flower fest worked. Yeah I won the trophy and am officially the Green Thumb of Liberty. Not that it could have gone any other way, the other townies didn't have a flower between them. Not to worry next year they can fight it out amongst themselves.

Things have been slow. Been caught up playing Ratchet and Clank and Burnout Paradise on the PS3. But still do my daily chores and check on everybody. Goose gave me his photo which means I can't be neglecting them too much. Nearly paid off my loan so looking forward to getting a new room... finally... hopefully.
