Agree, just ergonomics alone will make it a hit I feel. My biggest complaint with the PSP was its size, it was too small an prevented me from holding it for longer then an hour. The PSV relieves that problem, right from the start when I unboxed mine it was such a comfort to hold. Just waiting for the great games to come. But dont get jigoku no gundan, you will regret it!

Im loving mine, its so much bigger then the PSP and fits perfect in my hands, no more cramping from when I used to use my PSP-1000. Been playing all sorts of demos on the PSN and surfing on the web while on the toilet, just waiting for my copy of sumi oni to get delivered next month!

Actually that explanation wasnt very good, when I get home tonight from work I will post some pics of the various interface layouts, although it took me forever to post the PSV pics I already have under my profile heh.

Yes, you have to use your PSP account, but once you pick that account you cannot change your account. For example I used my Japan account to link to, once I did that I could not access my USA account, you get a message: Your PSVita can only be linked to the account you initially signed into.

Cant access any of the USA content anymore but I never used that account much anyway.

Not XMB I think, its like crossbars that are vertical across the entire screen, like blades that expand when you touch/click them. But is annoying that they come up automatically and you have to cancel out of that view to go back to the bubble interface which I find much easier to navigate.

that was probably the startup/standby screen. I am sure there is no option under the display settings as I have combed through it completely.

hmm, just tried that but it still is giving me the red x error. Sigh, I give up, I cant even post the images in my profile to my post.

Anyway, the PSV is very nice, sleek design, very lightweight, the screen is awesome. Cant change the background picture which is too bad, though you can change the startup screen to a pic of your choosing. Also the interface is strange in that it forces you go to the xmb layout everytime you cancel out of a app instead of going straight back to the main screen with the bubbles, no big deal since you can back out of it but is a bit annoying.

Also is there a simple way to post pics to forums posts? I uploaded my PSV pics to my profile images but I cant for the life of me post them onto the forums, keep getting the red x image. I tried reading the faqs but that might as well be heiroglphyics to an old guy like me.

Just a warning, do not attempt to use content manager on your PC until your PSV is actually on, I connected my PSV when turned off to my PC after DL content manager and it causes an error. Had to call sony support to find out you can hard reset your PSV by holding down the power button for 20 sec. I panicked when I thought I bricked my PSV hehe.

Also dont get jigoku no gundan, what a terrible game, wasted $50 on it
