LBP, MGS 4, and Killzone 2 which I am not disappointed in at all, and happy to have purchased

Assassin's Creed, GTA 4, and Far Cry 2 which I could not stand, and did not live up to expectations.

The "Bushido Blade" for the PSOne is one of my inspirations for my Fight em ups. Would have been neet to make a spirituall sequell to that game, with PS3 graphics and prosessing power, and one that would have been great (instead of just interesting).

I love Sword (and other weapons) dueling simulators, with alot of japanese stylish camera-footage and style! Sadly, there are not alot of thouse type of games.

Well ... Final Fantasy 8, 9, 10. But mostly because I played Final Fantasy 7, nog because the hype realy!

Usually I dont fall for hype, I'm more interested in what I Want, Need or Crave (Or game series ive played before that I Liked ... they are many).

The only game I can recall I've played due to the Hype, but didnt play (played it on some friends consol or PC), is Street Fighter ... uhm Alpha I Think and Seventh Guest, Some and many years ago. Didnt like any of them. Seventh Guest was ... crappy FVM PC game, and Street fighter was lame and hard do do anyhting in other then a straightforward punch or kick. I played Street Fighter after Soul Calibur 2, Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore (PS2) and Tekken 3. And ... Streetfighter is nothing like Rival Schools, DOA, Tekken or SC series (and many other fighters), can anyone explain for me how to play Street Fighter?

It depends. I have many ideas for games (digital and physical), but i'll probably do a RPG or a Fight em Up. Mainly because consol-games (PS3) is best suited for it. I know, Fight em ups and RPGs (JRPGs) comes in large quantities, but that whould be my choise.

Other interesting games för PS3 would be somekind of advance "Mecha Simulator", with some cool hardware extras. Like they did with the Xbox, "Steel Battalion". Doesnt have to be Battlemechs (Large robots), it could be a remake of "X-wing vs Tie-Fighter" (Space Flight Fighter) or Strike Commander (Near future Modern Jet-fighters). But a real hardcore "Mecha-Sim". That would be nice.

I also have a dream of a real Turn Based Tactical RPG action game. Something like the original X-com (UFO: Enemy unknown, or Final Fantasy Tactics, Ring of Red etc) but with HighDef 3D, excelent graphics FX, game engine, HD sound, and a large ONLINE tournament and community with it. Like licensing it on Games Workshops Blood Bowl or Necromunda. "By" Hardcore, and "for" Hardcore, Turn Based RPG Strategy Players.

A spin-off or remake to the faboulus SHMUP "Chaos Engine", would'nt be that bad either. :) (In HD)

I hit my head on the nail there ... did'nt I :D

Did'nt first realise how good that "multi-game-style" idea was when I consieved it :) ! But actually ... its brilliant. *blush*,  I have had this idea for a while, but didnt reflect on it so mush, thats untill someone said something about that the remake whould probably skipp the hate/loved turn-based random encounter system.

Hey! maybe i should send Square-enix a mail with my ideas ... and point of view ;)

And yeah! ... all the spin-offs that Square have done the last years around FF7 will make the new generation gamers more interested in the FF7 original ... so, i gueas the remake whould sell alot. ( if not else, the fans will :) ... I know I Will! ).

Well! why cant they do a compromise. There are many other games that have two or more combat systems. Like the old Arcanum (and i think Star Ocean also had the choise ... and probably some other games i dont remember right now), it hade the choise in the start to choose "turn-based" or "Real-time" action.

In that way you could satisfy both camps. If you're a old timer then choose "Turn-based , Original battle mode", if you are new to the series and dont like turn based, select the "Real-time Modern battle mode"! Containing the same stuff, just that one is based on tactics, the other one rely more on reflexes! ...
Its not that imposible!

Well its true! The first experience is the best. Its like other old game people love. They're the best "ones" ... in our memories (the nostalgic fuzzy thing rapped around old memories of amazement). So no. a remake of FF7 maybee whouldnt reach our espectations. But think about the new generation that missed the FF7 game. They will probably not play it cause the graphics, sound and "tech" is out of date somewhat a decade or two ...

... AND also. As i stated in another "FF7 Remake" forum post ... its possible that it actually will be MORE satisfying then before. Remember that FF7 actually was somewhat of an experiment from Square, if they could manage to make a RPG with 3D graphics ... e.c.t. Now with many successfull other games in the FF series (and other), and alot of experience in the 3D realm ... it might be at least as magic as the first time whe played it :)
