im looking for a good survival game.. i have the understanding that a survival game is a game where you collect resources, food, craft items and such to stay alive... but all i can find in the survival category are games like dead space or last of us, tomb raider ect...

i have played those games and they are good but im really starving for something like the pc game "the forest".. does anyone have any suggestion of a crafting/survival game with the survival aspect of minecraft, dont starve or the forest for ps3 or ps4?? :)

I lot of the responses are really great games... i enjoyed super meat boy and bastion.. but i think one of my favorites has to be "Thomas was alone".. simple gameplay, amazing soundtrack, and excellent narration..
