Great deal at $99, I would buy it if there was a Sears nearby but as far as I am aware, there is not. Even though (imo) there arent many worthwhile games on the system, I could see someone picking it up to play SSB or MK8. However at its current price of $300, the WiiU is far too overpriced for what you are getting (which essentially is last gen hardware).

Ryse looks better than Infamous & Killzone, so...
Or at least AS good. The point is, if this machine was indeed 50% more powerful we would not be seeing 900p vs 1080p , or 60fps vs unsteady 60fps, we would be seeing 900p vs 4K or some other ungodly resolution.
Matter of fact x1 already has games at 1080p , 60fps, so unless the ps4 is gonna start producing 4k games at 120fps, this whole argument is pretty stupid to begin with
This is possibly one of the most uninformed posts I have seen on here. We have seen from multiplats that there in fact is a difference in the power, being seen from difference in the resolution and/or framerate. But the dumb part about your argument is 4k. You are aware that 4K has 4 times more pixels than 1080p. This means that in order for a system to run the same game (with the same graphical setting except resolution), you need to have a system that is, if I am not mistaken 300% stronger. So no a 50% difference would not lead to the PS4 having 4K games, far from it. Lets put it this way, 4K has 8,294,400 pixels and 1080p has 2,073,600 pixels, divide the two numbers and you get 4.
The 50% difference however, would lead to a resolution differences, in this case if we compare 1080p vs 900p, 1080p has 44% more pixels. Meaning that yes, a 50% difference in power would lead to the resolution difference seen.
Although the way she tries to get her point across is not very tactful, I do agree with her. People these days are getting increasingly lazy. Yes there are some people who have legitimate reasons for being overweight (medical conditions), but many just find the easiest way to do things. They dont even walk (parking example from another poster). I dont see anything wrong with what she is saying. You can do it as well, and get fit, as long as you put the effort in. There are some people who have no medical conditions who dont have time to work out, but those are mainly those who work in consulting or in banking, where after you work for 12-15 hours in a day, the last thing you want to do is cook or work out. Anyway, the issue is part of what she is doing seems shameless self promoting. Hell if you look at the picture posted in this thread you can see there is some photoshopping going around in the face (and maybe in the body as well).
On another note, it is funny how some "obese/very overweight" people keep complaining about fat shaming. I am sorry but you should feel ashamed for being 200-300 pounds when you are like 5'10 or smaller If you dont have a medical reason for it. Just use some self control, eat smaller portions, more frequently, so essentially have a proper diet, go to the gym, or at least walk a decent amount every day. I am not saying get super athletically fit, but try and became healthier. It will not only help you with your social interactions, but also when it comes to getting jobs.
ok thats said and done...probably not, i seem to have uh...'aggravated' some users on here today lol. but yea, Canada is a larger territory...raising the price of the ps4 there is an even worst. Sony should have just took the loss instead of losing their price advantage.
Why should Sony take a loss because Canadian dollar is down? I could understand if it was the yen.
....to keep their price advantage -_- it'd at least be a good gesture since they're trying to be all pro-gamer.
again, what do they teach you at the University of Georgia...maintenance?
Again. You are clearly unintelligent and would have zero chance of getting in UGA so stop mentioning a school you couldn't sniff.
Ask yourself if meet these numbers(Hell no you don't):

Although UGA is an excellent school, and I have no idea why that guy called you out on it, I am not entirely certain how the link that you just posted helps your argument. I am saying this well mainly for two reasons. 1: The acceptance rate, based on those numbers is 54%, which is very high. 2: The middle SAT score range is also quite unimpressive, with the range being 1790-2060, where 1790 is quite low (and essentially 25% of the admitted students have an SAT score less than 1790, how much less I don't know since they don't give the overall range). Cant comment on GPA (Weighted) since so many High Schools weight them differently (absurdly differently).
Anyway, having lived in Canada for a bit, yes Canadians get screwed over on basically everything. Products are more expensive there than in the US (clothes, electronics, food and etc) and there isn't necessarily a huge difference in the exchange rate. I guess right now there is but there was a prolonged point in time approximately two years ago where the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US dollar. Did not see companies lowering their prices (then again, why would they?). But if this is true, it BS. I do understand why they are doing it, but does not change the fact that its BS. They can pull this of now since demand is so high and the supply is so low (and by using a simple D/S economics model the price increase makes sense) but I wonder if the price will stick once the supply gets caught up with the demand.
