Thx alot everyone I'm gonna look into building one anyone have a link to a biginers guide? I don't know alot of the termonology for computers. I have a cousin with his masters digree in computer science but I doubt he would help me we don't get along.    jdc6305

don't misslead him guys

you can get the X1950PRO instead of the 7900

it's much better and cheaper

and if you can afford it, buy the E4300 CPU and a compatible M board

the difference is that in dual channel the sticks need to be in the same frequency

Not a bad system. I'm Canadian and have never heard of Starex or Bliss. How's the internet speed/prices over there. It's not crazy like Australia is it?

i dont know about the internet speeds' but starex is an avarege momry company and bliss is the best 7600GS, great for OC

DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!

save the money' and when the R600 will go out (i think in 2 monthes) and the cheaper DX10 cards, video cards will be a lot cheaper and you will be able to buy a C2D and a DX10 card

change the RAM to 667 MHZ instead of 800
