Hi, I've recently bought a xbox one s controller to be paired with my laptop (using windows 10) to play fortnite.

No issue with connecting the controller via Bluetooth to my laptop.

My question is the connectivity of my standard mobile phone earpiece with mic on the controller. Works normal when connected to the laptop via 3.5mm jack with audio and mic working perfectly.

I'm trying to use the 3.5mm jack on the controller using the same mobile phone earpiece. But I've read through xbox support help forum that if connects via blue tooth the controller does not support audio usage.

Hence through research I've found out two ways to get audio and mic using either:

1. xbox wireless adapter or

2. xbox headset adapter.

Can anyone help me to confirm this?

ps: earpiece works on controller when connected via wired cable directly from controller to laptop.
