This bothers me for some reason. It's not entirely because I'm a fan of Scrubs... it's primarily because of the asinine research.
Does anyone else get that stupid college magazine in the mail? You know, the one that doesn't help you at all? Well, they had a section that compared favorite TV shows to what their characters' professions are like in real life.
So they had an article on Scrubs. And it starts out by saying something like "Every day is usually hysterical for Dr. John McGinley and the rest of the staff at Sacred Heart..."
Um, what????????
John McGinley is the name of one of the actors. John Dorian is the name of the main character. If his last name was McGinley, he would be JMC, not JD. (Did anyone think about this at all?)
And John McGinley doesn't even play JD, he plays Dr. Cox. Way to go, smart people who are supposed to be writing about high-learning institutions. About 2 seconds of googling could tell you the main character is John Dorian. So who is dumb enough to make that mistake???
And what editor didn't catch it as well?
