Gah... I never have good luck.

So I went prom dress shopping last weekend, and no joke, at the first place I looked I found the PERFECT dress. It fits me, it doesn't need to be tailored, it was reasonably priced, it looks great...

Then I find out that my friend (the annoying one) bought a dress of the same color, relatively the same length, and with the same style straps.

Damn. She doesn't even look good in that color, I do. And she picked out an ugly-ass dress, but she's probably going to be hanging around me the whole time, so it's gonna look dumb if we're wearing the same color. It's annoying the crap out of me, because just when I was starting to not hate her anymore, she does something that screws up my life again. My mom has since dragged me to like 5 other dress stores, but I've found nothing as great as that first dress.

So now I have the choice to wear the dress I want to and look stupid next to someone wearing a similar dress, or kill myself to find another one before next Saturday.
