My friend in Hong Kong wants to buy a 360 to play me on xbox live, and we're wondering if players from his region can interact with my region. I'm in Canada.

I know, I was just trying to describe the cable that came with the xbox. I think I'm either going to pop the plastic cover, or order a monitor with hdmi input. Thanks!

I'm on the fence for buying an LCD monitor for my 360. It only has DVI so I was going to use an HDMI to DVI cable. Using this method I need to know if I can still output audio through the component cable?

I like the colour sceme, but be prepared to wipe it clean everytime you use it. Even if you just wash your hands you will leave an insane amount of smudging. Scratches also show up easily on the glossy blue painted part. It works well, but one thing I notice is when I wipe the touchscreen it makes a creaking noise, like as if it isn't quite installed properly. It works fine and doesn't make noise when I'm gaming.

RE4 for sure. Just recently I noticed you can use the classic controller for the game and get a good comparison how the game plays with the old controls, and how much better the new control scheme makes it. It's like night and day for me. Now if the Wii could only do the same for online fps...

Actually the 8600 does well in BF2142, if anything. Here:

The 8600gt beats an x1950 pro in BF2142. I play the demo maxed at 1280 with an x2 3800+, 2GB ram and get around 50-80fps.

I like certain aspects of 2142 very much but decided to get BF2 instead for a number of reasons.

Simple answer, buy a 360 now and enjoy the well developed library of games and online experience right now. In a year or so, you may be able to afford a Wii, and it will have a substantial amount of games worth buying the system for. That's what I wish i had done. It takes a while for a new console to get a decent software library. The Wii has some good games right now, but looking at 360 I'm seeing more great games that look to offer a much better play experience for the short term.
