Introduction (forgive the links) I've been a user of the site for a couple of years now and needed to make a new profile as my previous one was having some serious problems. My new profile will be mostly updates on my freelance reviewing work as well as other examples of my writing. Recently I recorded a podcast with none other than overlord of citizengame.co.uk Dannyodwyer about my experience at PAX East (http://www.citizengame.co.uk/2010/04/gamecast-050410/) What I've been playing L4D 2 (pc): Picked this up during a steam 50% off midweek madness and it's really a huge improvement over the previous game in almost every aspect. The inclusion of melee weapons is simply incredible and much more useful than the standard pistol secondary. I found the new campaigns refreshing and loved the variety, especially in the second half of the Dead Rain campaign was on your return trip its starts to pour and you have to traverse the environment according to massive flooding. + Great new multiplayer modes + Love new weapons and special infected - Offline is not the way to play the game The Secret of Monkey Island (pc): Monkey Island game I've played and I must say I don't know what I was waiting for. I love the art style, humor, and quirkiness of characters and environments.
