What's wrong with healthy competition?

The console wars are on and the ps3 is not the favorite or even close to making a big impact yet... The reason is because Sony did not successfully launch the ps3. The PlayStation 3 had all the hype but with a bad line up of launch games consumers started to view other options. The Wii launched with a Zelda game which gave them an immediate head of steam, and Nintendo has not looked back sense. With the swift release of super paper Mario the wii is sure to sell plenty more consoles. Also during the timeframe of the ps3 launch was a little game called gears of war. A right on time first person shooter that went on to sell 3 million plus copies. In the past sony didn't have much competition when they launched. They killed the likes of the N64 and the Sega Dreamcast. This time when sony launched, the competition did not back down from sony's vice grip on the gaming industry. Instead the competition came out firing on all cylinders creating the most healthy console competition in recent years. While Sony will eventually find success with the ps3 they will also find themselves in a extreme battle to keep exclusive titles since they came out selling so slow. Sony for once does not own this generation of consoles. They might catch up and they might not ever catch up, but one thing for sure is that sony has a lot and i mean a lot of work to do to knock of the competition this generation. That's not a bad thing though because what's wrong with healthy competition.
