Yup, you're right...could have made my own. But pricing this Dell setup vs NewEgg or the other premium pre builts was the cheapest. Only $1050! Plus, I got financing with interest free. So, there were other reasons. Anyway, it is a great start for future builds. Just wanted to point out that this particular Dell setup didn't support SLI, and that the PSU rating was very low (good for efficency). The GTS240 setup is hence perfect (and energy efficient) for this setup.
Yup...I just got a Dell with GTS240. Runs Crysis on high settings without a glitch. Got an i7 with 8GB DDR3 too. If you aer planning on selling the GTS 240...let me know. I might try SLI dual on it. However, for the cost of replacing the motherboard and power for that, I might as well just get a GTX 295 and a PSU. If you're tinkering with this Dell setup, you MUST get a new PSU. Also, if you want dual SLI, the motherboards needs to be upgraded as well. And maybe a custom drilled out vent on the side of this case with an extra fan might help too....:P
