I honestly can't even think of any decent, nevermind critically acclaimed game where music didn't play some role. Video games and film are one in the same, they're all encompassing art styles( I hate to say "ultimate art forms" and come across as picking favorites.) ; bringing visual, musical, and literary art forms together to form a single preeminent piece of work. "The sum of its parts is greater than the whole."
Basically look the same... Halo 3's environments and vehicles look slightly better though. Higher detail and nicer lighting. But I'll believe that these are probably really bad screenshots for comparisons. The ghost is a good example, as someone said.
Most games these days, it's predictable and just too obvious which option is the "good" and which is the "bad." Games like Fallout 3, it's just kinda like "Hey should I kill him, or leave him alive?" Not ordinary choices we'd make in IRL like they talked about, but not exactly inventive or make you think. I haven't played in a while but I think the "morality" system in the Elder Scrolls games was pretty good. It wasn't obvious at first, you subtly become either disliked by the citizens of the world or referred to as a good person/hero.
1.Resident Evil 4 (GC) 2.GTA: San Andreas (XBOX) 3.Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition 4.Doom 3 (XBOX) 5.Half Life 2 (PC) These are in no particular order but I think they make me look cool and are must-own games.
