Either the Panasonic P50ST30 or the Samsung PN51D550? just wanted to get some opinions as both seem to be the best option for my price range.

sounds good, thanks for the advice.

i'll upgrade to the i-5 2500k and go with the gtx 580. is there much difference between the gtx 580 and the superclocked version?

i was under the impression that the i-5 2300 that i listed was quad-core. i originally had the i-7 2600k on there, but was told i didn't need that much for a gaming build.

OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - Operating Systems

I use a 50 inch plasma (panasonic TC-P50ST30 1080p 3D) for gaming on my PS3, so I want to use it for the computer too. The computer is being built with the idea that Elder Scrolls: Skyrim will be played on the highest settings. I realize the highest resolutions are on the smaller computer monitors,I just like playing on the big screen HDTV from the couch. With that in mind, I've had two recommendations on video cards on a separate forum. One suggesting the GTX 590 and another suggesting 2 superclocked GTX 570's SLI. The reviews from tom's hardware seem to indicate that 2 570's is way to go. Any opinions would be helpful, as I am not very knowledgeable on the subject.

thanks

Dragon Age: Origins should be out in November.

Alpha Protocol also looks promising.
