@DoomSky: My understanding is that if you want cosmetic upgrades for your spartan like armor, visors, and weapon skins, go with the silver packs because they give you just as many permanent unlocks. If you play Warzone and use the weapon cards often, then get the gold pack because you're more likely to get better weapon variants and more cards to choose from.

Most decent games require an online pass to even play the games online in the first place, which is why I usually only buy new games. This is, however, one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.
