I don't usually talk about politics here, but did anyone else pay attention to the news? This morning, the White House announced the Chief of Staff, Andrew Card, was resigning. While this is good news to some extent, they replaced him Josh Bolten, who is another close friend of the President. What a stupid move! While some of us don't agree with the President's policies on some issues, they need to bring in more new people, people who aren't close friends. For quite a while, the administration has been suffering from "groupthink," which would explain many of the mis-steps (Dubai ports deal, for instance). It seems anyone who has a different opinion on something ends up resigning from the administration. Until someone truely new is brought in at a high level and shakes things up, the President will continue to have poll numbers below 40%. Anyone else care to offer an opinion on this? All of my pending submissions were cleared out last night, so thanks to whoever was working late. :) Current Rank: Guzzlefish
