Is that true that Playstation was originally made to be an accessory to run CDs on SNES and due to contratual problems between Nintendo and Sony it wasn't released as planned ?

If you know this is true or only hoax or if you know any other legend or myth about videogames, feel free to post! Thank You.

I believe it was "Speedy Gonzalez: Los Gatos Bandidos" for SNES. Below it's a link with an image of the game:

Just for curiosity, here in Brazil there was a rare mod of this game in which they put Sonic in place of Speedy Gonzalez and instead of saving other mice during the game, you saved Mario. Bizarre, huh?

First game I played: Sonic the Hedgehog on Master System III Super Compact (I believe this console was only released here in Brazil)

First game I owned: Super Mario Bros. 3, included on my NES.

Yes. I still play my GBA. This is the best alternative if you don't have money for a DS or a PSP.

I'd consider this system a "portable SNES".

Here in Brazil we had a lot of NES clones in the middle of the 90s but SNES clones I never heard about.

Below it's link to an article about one of the most famous clone of the NES system here in Brazil which was called "Phantom System":

I really liked my megadrive. So much good games like Sonic, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe and , of course, Altered Beast. Today I think so cool and funny when I play and hear in the beginning of the game zeus telling me: "Rise from your grave!" Old school rocks!

Definately when I got my Super Nintendo for Christmas. Even with only 1 game (Super Mario World) I just couldn't stop playing that for about a month.

For SNES: Super Mario RPG

The mix between Square and Nintendo created one of the best games of the 16-bit era

For PS1: Metal Gear Solid

This is simply the best game of the PS1. Only master Kojima could create something so cinematographic to a videogame.
