Last week we picked up the JBL speaker/docking station from the Apple store. We wanted something that we could jam our iPod in and listen to music easily. As soon as Amy turned it on I said, "That thing sucks!". There was no seperation at all and it sounded just like I thought it would from those tiny little speakers. For $160 we put it back in the box after a week of trial. Bose SoundDockWe picked up the Bose one instead, and while it is twice as much at $299, it is 100 times better. I will just sum it up by saying it is room filling sound. Very Rich and can go pretty loud (Even though those days are over for me) before it starts distorting. The only draw back is that it can not be hooked into your computer while it is docked, which is fine for us since we have it on a whole other floor as our computers. I highly recommend saving your pennies and getting the Bose over the JBL, worth every penny of the difference.
