Photography, one of my hobbies

Since I could remember I've always loved photography. When I was 5 I remember asking my mom if I could take pictures with her camera, in which most of the time she refused. She herself was a photographer before she left the field, and bought me a nice cheap camera to satisfy me when I was between the ages of 5-10. We got our first digital when I was probably 12 but it wasn't very good, not even 1mp. At 13 we finally got a nice 3.2mp Sony, in which I just loved and took pictures whenever I could, I used that camera up intill 2005. Finally in early 2006 I got a digital SLR and just love the thing, its amazing, I take many pictures with it, heck I have nearly every picture I've taken with it on my computer (pics are probably above 2,000 easily). I most recently just purchased a telephotolens for it (which should hopefully arrive today, lol), a telephoto convertor, of course all those darn filters for them, and a nice form fitting case my Olympus. I have a website called criticscinema.com in which I display all of my photography, its down right now becasue I'm transferring hosting sites but will be back up soon!.

Movies!

On the list of things I couldn't live without I'm sure somewhere on there movies would be listed, I just flat out love watching moives. I consdering myself a film addict, which is probably due to my uncle (a fellow film buff, lol) getting me hooked at an early age as well as being taken to the show frequently when I was really young. I enjoy all types of films, drama, action, foreign film (watch the Hidden Fortress Star Wars fans!), comedy, and many more. I'm really surprised about how many good foreign films there are out there. My uncle has a massive Criterion DVD collection and has let me borrow several of them, all of which have been great. I most recently watched Pans Labyrinth which blew me away, and just rented Seven Samurai.

Snow Day!

Well yesterday I had my first snow day ever in my college career, it was nice to have a day off, yet I better be reimbursed for missing a class I paid for! lol. I pretty much just relaxed all day, played some 360 games, took a lot of pictures with my camera (I love photography!), and watched LOST in the evening.

Weight Loss

Well my new years resolution is to loose weight (made post in off-topic). Well its been nearly 10 days since then and I have lost 4 pounds! So far so good.
