Goodbye Gamespot! I finally have decided to leave this great site with dignity.... I will not be visiting here any more on my account.

The Metroid Jukebox has been cancelled, along with others alike I have been posting, also.
I just recieved the Artistic Design Emblem from Gamespot's Gamespace Banner Union! The banners that I submitted and won are in the Metroid Prime Trilogy and New Play Control! Metroid Prime 2: Echoes sections!

Distress Signal 4 (aka DS4) is a union designed for Metroid fans, made by Metroid fans, but also unlike any other Metroid-based fan union out there!
DS4 will have completely unique features for a Union, including the following:
*Download stations
*Judged court systems
*Up-to-date updates/information
*Open-mind characteristics for future opportunities
*Help stations, possibly an automated help bot that you can IM to using AIM (AOL Instant Messenger)
*More free-will for the lower rankings
*And much, much MORE!!!
This union will be EXCLUSIVE for Metroid fans!
These features may take time to completely evolve into what they are designed and inspired to be, but it will be worth the wait! It has just begun!

I have officially restarted my Distress Signal 4 union project yesterday, June 9, 2009, and I am just posting an update on how it's going. A huge boom has just begun! Word has gotten around of Distress Signal 4, and I am getting new PMs asking to be charter members/co-founders for Distress Signal 4 (aka DS4)! I have officially added a new "status meter" to my profile showing the status at where DS4 is currently at now. Distress Signal 4 is a completely new Gamespot Union for Metroid fans, designed by Metroid fans.
DS4 will have completely unique features for a Union, including the following:

Metroid: Other M was just reveled this morning at e3 2009, and it is back with a vengeance! The suit Samus uses in this game is the nearly the same that was used in SSB: Brawl and the 2D Metroid sidescrollers! The character design/artwork and theming has been updated to an almost anime feeling, mixed with SSB: Brawl, Final Fantasy, Halo 3, WALL-E, and of course, Metroid, all put together, art style. This game looks fantastic! The game is (most likely) played in both first and third person.
Adam has been reveled, and plays a role in this game, possibly a major role. Also, Mother Brain is back to its form from Super Metroid, sparking some rumours that this game nay be a 3D prequel, or possibly a remake telling the whole story behind, Super Metroid.
This game is being developed right now by Team Ninja, which, according to Tom Magrino, GameSpot, "Team Ninja is known for delivering intense gameplay, and that reputation was on full display with the brief Metroid: Other M trailer that was shown. After a cutscene shows a young woman later identified to be Samus in a sci-fi military base, the trailer shifted to in-game action of Samus in her iconic armor battling a variety of enemies both with ranged and melee combat."
There may be new villains, possibly even Weavel from Metroid Prime: Hunters, as it vaguely appears. And, is DARK SAMUS shown in the trailer??!!

Overall, this game looks kick-@ss with tons of action, still being true to the Metroid mythology. Metroid: Other M is set to be released for Wii sometime next year, 2010.
Lets all wait and see and hope for the best!

Why should we suffer for the mistake FOX made of switching the show over to Friday nights? The ratings are still good, about as good as House, but not as good as they used to be when aired on Monday nights. The show is still in the top 6 for Friday night airings, but, still. If it were to be cancelled, it were to be canceled because of FOX's mistake. Fix the mistake, FOX. I can guarantee you the ratings will skyrocket again soon for season 3, especially if put back to Monday nights. Many other Terminator fans feel the same way.
Also, it is a marketing opportunity to have many Terminator fans watching FOX. There are many Terminator fans out there, I can tell you that!
If the Sarah Connor Chronicles were to be canceled, it is only in its second season! It would be recognised as a failure, to FOX! Don't let this happen! I won't!
This show doesn't deserve to go down without a fight.
