That it is the most AC2 like of the bunch is somewhat encouraging, as it was the last good AC. Pity they didn't actually pull it off. What they got right is kind of irrelevant when the things they screwed up are much more important. And locking content, just, uh... No buy for that alone.
I found some of the later area much more memorable than the opening chapter. Nonetheless, I thought the concept was magnificently used throughout, and the story is fantastic. The Unfinished Swan was certainly one of my favourite exclusives on PS3, and one of the better games in general.
@push88 @jecomans There seemed to be a very small amount on the demo stream. But that could have been Twitch and early build.
Screen-tearing is a complex beast, and the ways to fix it change depending on the circumstance. But there aren't really any PC games where it is unavoidable. Generally a worst case scenario would be to force v-sync and triple-buffering and cap the frame rate if possible.
@push88 I saw the demo played for 5 hours on PC, with one freeze, and no review has mentioned the problem (seen a few PC and XBO reviews). Not to say it isn't true, reviewers sometimes get lucky compared to the thousands that play the game, but if it crashing frequently for someone it may be a troubleshooting or hardware issue?
@RevLux I had incorrectly heard that Zestiria may be getting a release on the PS4. So it is actually the last game I am aware of coming for the PS3 that I'm excited about.
@therealzorvan Worthwhile reasoning for contents sake. I generally buy within the first month, bug/update dependent. But I only get DLC for games I really think deserve more attention. I'm got a new PC recently, after not having a games worthy one since 2004, and I'm playing what I missed, and some of my classics, so thing's pass me by if I don't get them early.
I can forgive the poor story, though it would have been nice, because of the way the game implements not just resource limitation, but actual strategic management of resources. That generally keeps the moment to moment play interesting enough, in my eyes.
It does annoy me, however, that Sebastian is the un-fittest cop to ever wear the badge.
