I have the Sennheiser HD202 headphones and am looking at the Audio-technica ATH-PRO5V headphones.

The ATH-PRO5V's have a greater frequency range, but the HD202's have less ohm's of resistence. The HD202's also have a very low THD while the ATH-PRO5V's don't list what its THD is.

My big reason for upgrading is comfort. The HD202's padding is a little small, so they rub on my ears which is uncomfortable after a few hours. They will also tend to slip off if I am looking down. I like to listen to music while doing homework, so they will slip off while looking down. I also have problems when practicing on my electric keyboard with them because I have to keep re-adjusting them.

I just want to upgrade to a pair that will stay on my head better and feel more comfortable without sacrificing the qualityof the HD202s. I am aware the the HD202s are hardly high end sound quality, but they are the best quality I know of, and they beat the $5 headphones I am used to infinitely.

Could any of you be able to help me out? I am open to other brands or headphones than the ATH-PRO5Vs.

I don't get it. It is very easy to save that much if you cut courners. Only one meal a day, no lights or AC, walk to work, etc. :lol:

I sure hope the ATI offerings are better for the money. I am building a second rig this summer and I really don't want to spend more than $180.

My grandpa bought a PC with Vista 32-bit for his mother, and he liked it after playing around with it for a little while. I think it looks great. As for the RAM, Let's start comparing XP to windows 98. I think you really get something for the extra resource usage. If building a new PC, it is not like the requirements are expensive to meet anyway.

I still don't like the idea that it reports all sorts of stuff like installed apps, visited web sites, watched videos, etc,, to some place. It would help against pirating, but it just crosses the line of privacy.

Ya you only need to overclock an E8400 if you have dual 9800GX2's or want more 3dmark.Spybot_9

Or do CPU intense things that only suppot two cores.

How much RAM does your computer use with no applications running? Just a genaric question. Put down what your OS is to. Just for fun you could also put down the highest amount of RAM you have used and what you did to use it.

Mine uses ~250MB on my desktop and my OS is XP Pro. The most RAM I have ever used is 1.5GB. I have reached it in two ways.

(1) Playing a game, drawing a vector graphic, and searching the web (harder on my head than the computer :D)

(2) Rendering a video
