The gpu is mainly what makes it demanding. 4GB is doable and Sandy Bridge/Bulldozer should handle it.

I have a single GTX 560ti, so I'm right on the line there. I do have a quad core, but no bulldozer or sandy bridge, just a 3.02 GHz Phenom II X4. I'm hoping to upgrade to a sandy or bulldozer in January. 6GB of RAM, so no problem there.
Oh I see. Hope to see you upgrade soon. My next build will have 8GB RAM and most likely a Bulldozer while I keep my 2 GTX 460s. SLI/Crossfire needs to be supported to do well with Ultra for now. The 560 ti and phenom x4 will be fine, i have athlon x2 4050e 2.1 ghz with a 8600 gts 256 mb 3 gb ram and i can run bad company 2 on max settings looks better than ps3/360. bf3 is built using the same engine i bet my 8600 gts can do 1024x768 max settings, i can do 1280x720 max in bad company 2. The dx11 features are just tacked on crap like on bad company 2.amped 3 wasnt too bad actually could of been alot better though.Res evil 5, Quake 4, GT5 (not sure if a "sequel"), every soul calibur after the first, amped 3, and uh.......... crysis 2

gamespot reviews onrails vehicle sections none where you can drive a vehicle like gears 2.[QUOTE="jeepbeepbeep"][QUOTE="Bretter2200"]
That's a bit odd, because it's actually improved from that. It's got veichles out side and in campaign that aren't mainly for scripted sequences. Much like Halos, ever heard of the silver back?

No one liked those sequences, such as the junker. So Epic gave us more dynamic sequences in which the veichle is avalible via all modes. The silver back isn't scripted and can be used in all locations. Which IMO is MUCH better, at least when I played the campaign.
the buggy section in gears 2 was one of the most fun parts.Where is the review that says that?[QUOTE="Mr_Positive"][QUOTE="jeepbeepbeep"]gears 3 actually took steps back from gears of war 2 you could drive vehicles in the single player lol gears 3 review says it's all onrails now.Bretter2200
