Reach may not be a groundbreaking game, but it will be very different and better than the previous Halo's. Let me summarize the additions that I have heard of.
Firefight 2.0-Disappointingly absent from ODST, Matchmaking will be included in Reach, along with a host of new things: a plethora of game options (if you want to fight against against a bunch of grunts, do so). Another big addition is a left for dead style mode where the Spartans fight against the Covenant where the Elites are controlled by human players. The spartans get as far as they can, while the elites try to stop them. When the lives are up, they switch sides.
Graphics-Graphics are looking sick. Every weapon that isn't new, was completely redesigned and looks much better.
Campaign-The campaign with have a more depressed and dark tone to it, which will play with your emotions. It will be more realistic and varied than other Halo games, partly because you are not the Master Chief.
Multiplayer-As far as what I've seen in the Beta, Reach will have a better way to select your maps. You will have three options in which the players vote on, instead of the usual vetoing. A huge change would have to be the loadouts which range from the Hologram (not sure if it is in Multiplayer, but it is in the campaign) to a Jetpack. These options will add much more variation and strategy to the multiplayer.
Forgeworld-Probably the most groundbreaking feature of Halo Reach. It's basically a huge world that you can create anything in. Search forgeworld on youtube because I don't feel like typing all the new and advanced features of the new Forge. But trust me, it is amazing. This mode secured my pre-order.
Setting-It's on a whole different planet. And as you know, a new planet=new creatures. There are a range of new species; some harmless, some hurtful, that will be in the campaign. There are also a few new Covenant species.
Now that I've said all that I know as of now, it is about time that I say that I am a hard-core halo fan, and I will never support Cock of Duty
K Bye
