I wouldn't expect a new console from Microsoft until about 2013-2015. and FIY for the people that dont know, the reason the original xbox didn't last so long as well as the reason the 360 was pushed out 1 year ahead of the PS3 and Wii is cause of a contract conflict Microsoft had with NVidia (the designer/maker of the original xboxs GPU). it was at the end of the agreement and Nvidia wasnt in a position to extend the manufacturing contract so the deal ended. I beleave the reason behind it was that at about the time the contract between NVidia and Microsoft was about to end, NVidia had already been sourced to make the GPU for the PS3 and knowing Sony, something would have been in the contract saying that they couldn't go into a deal with a different company if it would allow them to make a GPU for a competing console. if any one has a conflict of thought on this matter, please feel free to express it.
for the rez on it the HP should be fine unless your gona try and run Crysis on it then maybe the MSI might be your better bet. BUt if i had to chose i would get the HP laptop.
that has to be fake cause for starters, the size and shape of the screen just says incompatible! its not a 16:9 ratio like the normal PSPs. on top of that where are the shoulder buttons? im sorry but not even sony would make those kinds of design mistakes. NO
i just hope it doesn't become a total lagfest. runescape is flash based and every once in a while the lag can get real annoying! and if all else fails i can just continure to play Quake 3 online and at LAn parties.
have you installed any new software that runs in the background. and what do you use for antivirus? its not uncommon for a big update to occur that causes a big increase in resources used but even still, i wouldnt know what to think that might cause that big of a drop in performance.

Thanks, I plan on playing at 1280x1024. for that rez i wouldnt bother getting anything bigger than a 9600GT or if you really want to push AA and AS then get an 9800GT but anything more is a waste.
cs 1.6, diablo 2, warhammer 40k: dawn of war (iffy id check online at www.yougamers.com to be sure), KoToR 1 & 2, shogun total war, guildwars might run (again check with yougamers), medal of honor: allied assault, red alert 2, painkiller might run and if its okay try doom 3 :Daura_enchanted
I got bored out of my mind playing Guildwars, Allied Assault woun't run if its anything like Pacific assault. and I tryed painkiller but it ran too slow to be playable. although i might try Doom3 just for kicks. Im mostly looking for single player games though.
